V3Wind’s “EnerSettle” SCI open source effort utilizes smart public and private contract pairs operating on public and IPP private distributed ledgers to dramatically reduce settlement costs and time between the IPPs and ISOs when reconciling and authorizing power output verification and remittances.

For the first time, V3Wind intends to enable IPPs “Independent Power Providers” and Utilities with the ability to implement their own multiple EnerSettle_ISO2IPP SC “Smart ContraCT”Pairs as autonomous “SCI” SMART CONTRACT INFRASTRUCTURE to support unique Project Token Gensite Instances, SO AS to quickly and securely write their power generation project power output from their power generation sites automatically to the IOTA Public Distributed Ledger Tangle. In doing so IPP’s get paid faster by the ISO and also conveniently meet regulatory reporting requirements at 85% low cost or more.

To make it happen reliably V3Wind suggest’s IPP’s deploy their Power Generation Sites with at least their own EnerSettle Qubic SC nodes (VM or docker) hosted and optimized at the Project Site hosted IOTA Tangle SuperNodes, IOTA full Tangle nodes which can operate adjacent to other control processes at the wind farm site for example, which as part of their controller platform job, write Power Generation platform SCADA power output information send in Canbus/TCP form to be tailored by IPP modified EnerSettle SC rule sets in the Qubic SC “Smart Contract” controlled by the IPP when they write such information to the IOTA public DLT called the “Tangle”.

It’s a tall order, and the first step moving forward is the establishment of the PoC on Github this week, so wish us luck!
